Social causes people to lose their culture as other people bring in new trends. Considering the small numver of people who are not able to go against the majority of the people who followed the trends. However social problem is not the main problem as it can be prevented, advertisments can be put up to stop the people from going with the trends so as to not lose their culture. There are other factor which effects mankind in a more serious way compared to social problems.

With regards to globalisation, certain changes have occurred.Social issue is a significant role in globalisation. For instance, many people are following the footsteps of their idols. The way they dress, the way they behave are smiliar.Their cultures are no longer important to them.In addition, they only follow the trend of fashion and do not wear their traditional costumes out on street. To small extent, some people who are aware of their own cultures, they only wear their traditional costume on specail festival like Chinese New Year and Hari Raya.Furthermore, there are many magazines pulished to teach what people should be wearing for each season. Therefore it is not surprising to find people who are dressing as exactly the same as you on the street.Hence, social issue does play a major role in globalisation.

Globalisation caused by economic issues-
A country which has more natural resources tend to prosper. This is because, countries rich in resoures will sell then to other nations to increase their funds to develop thier own country and to buy advanced technology to help them get richer.Poor countries which do not have much or any resources to sell cound not gain funds to develop. Therefore, the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer.

jamie...you are not writing intro so no need to say there are other factors that affect more. instead, concentrate on how you can focus on really linking it as a serious problem and hence, affecting mankind

stace said...

pearlyn, you don't need to focus on how things are not so bad..no need to defend the answer by bringing in the hari raya part. focus on how the negative impact is serious enough. do the proper linkages

cabal, I need to see linking words and how those elaboration make it a serious problem.so what if rich get richer? is it a whole nation problem? does it affect many people? if so, then is it serious?

Enviornmental issue such as global warming and deforestation can be seen to affect mankind most. Deforestation causes distruption of the carbon cycle, which increase the amount of carbon dioxide in the air, thus leading the more heat being trapped in the world. Trapping of heat in the air will cause global warming. Sea level will rise as the ice caps melts, this will also cause rise the temperature of the Earth. It took hundreds of years for the trees to grow to make up the forest, the hole in the ozone layer also is irreversible. Although people are recycling, it is not a way to prevent manufacturing products which releases greenhouse gases, greenhouse gases will still be given out to the environment. Thus i environemntal issue is the more serious problem which affect the mankind.

Globalisation has led to some international companies producing goods for the entire world.
---
Since the world is smaller now, its easier to get industrial products and thus demands on various products rose rapidly.
---
In order to meet the increased demand, more factories will have to be constructed and the amount greenhouse gases given off will
significantly increase.
---
Global warming due to greenhouse gases will occur at a much faster rate than the period of Industrialisation, which were once considered a very severe environmental problem. Now it is even worse with the arrival of Globalisation.
---
Also, demand for more goods will result in faster rate of deforestation, mining and fossil fuels burnt.
---
Deforestation will inevitably cause the rate at which carbon dioxide is removed from the environment to decrease drastically.
---
Mining will also devastate lands that could be potentially used for reforestation.
---
Conclusion, globalisation brings several negative impacts. One of the impact is that global warming is encouraged.Lands are destroyed. Forests are lost, species becomes extinct.

Due to the latest technology, many developed countries are equiping themselves with the latest gadgets, electronic devices. Hence, many countries are competing in the 'technology market' as they wanted to earn a prodigious amount of money from just inventing new versatile mobile phones or other electronic devices. Many people just wanted the latest things therefore everyone are just having almost everything in common. It gives the thinking like :If you don't have this certain type of mobile phone , you are not cool. So everybody is just following one another.Hence ,economic issue has a serious negative impact on globalisation.
